A 1.5” diameter entry hole sits on one side of the shelter, surrounded by additional PVC and blue, metal trim, acting together as a predator guard. This entry is specifically sized for bluebirds, and the deep interior provides them a safe nesting spot. A beautiful, cobalt blue paint covers the hardy roof and metal tines, while a white finial tops the piece for fantastic height. This finial removes for nest checks, and allows warm air to exit, keeping nestlings cool. An extended platform with decorative, routed ledge surrounds the bottom of the roost, and an attached base collar allows you to place the unit onto a true 4″ x 4″ post (not included).
