Description
Audubon Mealworm and Peanut Combination Feeder
Change both the feed you offer and the species of birds visiting your garden with this Audubon Mealworm and Peanut Combination Feeder. Offering different types of food to songbirds may allow you to observe a larger variety of them in your yard, for a fun and dynamic station. The classic, steel tube creates a convenient reservoir, capable of holding 1.3 quarts of peanut chunks or mealworms. The solid top half of this tube keeps the feed dry, while the bottom half lends versatility to the piece. A 0.75″ square, metal grid here works as a classic peanut feeder, allowing jays and other large birds to access their treat. Slide the 3.5″ wide, perforated steel collar downward to cover the grid and create a mealworm feeder. The open circles here enable bluebirds to reach mealworms, and a 7.125″ diameter, bottom tray supports this column. Holes along this tray provide drainage, and a stepped, metal roof completes the unit. Place the item on a branch using its attached hanging rod, and push the rubber discs down onto the roof to prevent squirrels from lifting it. The green tone complements your landscaping, and the silver colored mealworm ports and hanging loop add contrast. Increase the variety of birds you seed and feed you offer using this Mealworm and Peanut Combination Feeder.
