Using this unique item in your bird garden provides several different ways to feed birds, enticing a variety of species to your area. Robust, recycled plastic lumber creates the traditional frame, topped by a clear plastic roof. Two plastic coated suet cages sit on the two upright supports, handily holding standard sized suet or seed cakes. These holders open from the top for filling, and the rectangular grid allows clinging birds to reach the feed easily. A perforated, metal screen forms a base inside the frame, holding 1 quart of loose seed, fruit, or mealworms. Place the included, metal cradle atop the bottom platform to hold a 4” diameter seed cylinder, or remove this support for more feeding options. Slide the included, metal rod through the center of your existing, 6” diameter seed cylinder, and suspend the rod from the custom holders on the center of the uprights for another use. The open sides and clear roof of the unit make it easy to monitor avian activity from a distance, and a durable, plastic coated cable runs through the roof for hanging the piece. The bottom, perforated screen, metal rod, and cradle are all removable for thorough cleaning, and the recycled plastic construction lasts for seasons of service.
